Associate Professor of Philosophy Yuval Avnur published two articles: “On Losing Your Self in Your Afterlife” as part of the collection Self or No-Self? The Debate about Selflessness and the Sense of Self (Mohr Siebeck: T脙录bingen) and “On What Does Rationality Hinge?” in聽The International Journal for the Study of Skepticism. He also received a grant from AALAC to co-organize a workshop with faculty from Reed and Barnard Colleges on聽“the place of analytic philosophy in a liberal arts curriculum.”聽Participants from Williams, Amherst, and Barnard Colleges will attend the workshop scheduled for the summer of 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
