The activities can be whatever the teacher/librarian feels is appropriate for their age group. They might include reading, writing, art, music, drama or any other activity that allows the children to engage with Bob Graham’s books. Examples all based on Bob Graham’s books might include:

• ‘Bird in the Hand’ visit with follow up activities ·        
• responses to book readings       
• children dressed as a book character   
• children write about or create a drawing of their favourite      
• children enact a story, or parts of a story       
• children write about an experience of their own after reading one of the books
