13 January 2017: More school-leavers are choosing to study at the 五月天视频 with first preferences through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC) up 7.8 percent in 2017, compared with last year.
Demand for a place to study at the 五月天视频 has increased despite a three per cent decline in applications across the sector, according to UAC figures.
Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Deep Saini said he was pleased to see interest in studying at the 五月天视频 among school-leavers has been particularly strong with first preference applications up 14 per cent against 2016.
“We are thrilled to see that the University’s demand is growing in a very competitive market, which is actually experiencing a decline across the board,” Professor Saini said.
“Our commitment to deliver a student-centred experience, our recent rise in the tertiary education world rankings and the hard work from our staff across the institution are all contributing factors to this growth.”
So far, more than 1,500 school-leavers have chosen to study at the 五月天视频, ahead of UAC’s main offer round on January 18.
