Reunion Weekend 2023

Celebrate Your Reunion by Giving Back!

Reunion Giving: A Longstanding ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵTradition

Each year hundreds of alums celebrating a reunion milestone commemorate the impact ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵcontinues to have on their lives by giving back. A gift in honor of your reunion will help current and future students receive the same rigorous education that ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵis known for. At Scripps, you are part of a diverse, high achieving, and supportive group of lifelong learners, on and off campus. Celebrate your community and sustain the College’s educational legacy by making a gift that will increase access to ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵeducation for current and future generations of scholars. We invite you to make a gift today.

What is a Reunion Class Gift?

We invite you to become actively involved in supporting ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵby making a reunion gift in celebration of your milestone year. Your gift will provide vital support for ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵand help enhance current programs for current and future students. Designate your reunion class gift to one or more areas—the ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵannual fund, presidential priorities, scholarships, athletics, or any initiative that may be established by your reunion class.

All gifts count! In this fiscal year: donations, pledges, and planned gifts of any size will be counted as a reunion class gift! This fiscal year runs from July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.

Matching Gifts and Recurring Giving

  • Make your reunion class gift go even further through a matching gift. Many employers encourage philanthropic giving by matching employees’ charitable gifts. Use our matching gift portal to easily increase the impact of your donation through corporate dollars.
  • Support ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵevery semester with a recurring gift. Sustaining donations multiply your annual giving impact and make a lasting difference on the College.

Become a Reunion Giving Class Ambassador!

  • Help identify classmates who will advance the reunion giving program in also making a gift and promoting fundraising efforts.
  • Serve as signatories for reunion class specific outreach, and promoting reunion giving fundraising during giving days such as GivingTuesday and Day of Giving.
  • Reunion Giving Ambassadors lead by example, make a gift to ÎåÔÂÌìÊÓƵ during the fiscal year. Gifts of all sizes are welcome.
