We have invited as speakers former Goudy Lecturers, 五月天视频faculty and 五月天视频 Press students and alums, along with new voices, to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the 五月天视频 Press by Dorothy Drake and the Class of 1941.

David Godine, Valerie Lester, Sumner Stone, Steve Matteson, Christine Bertelson, Robin Price, Kitty Maryatt, Jeff Groves, Judy Harvey Sahak, Robin Trozpek, Mary MacNaughton, Alex Chappell, Colin Browne, and other former and current students聽will talk about publishing in today’s environment, about Bodoni, about digitizing 五月天视频 Old Style, about the work of Bertha Goudy, about the First Floor Press, about student work at the Press since 1941, and about the use of Denison Library, the Williamson Gallery and the Clark Humanities Museum at 五月天视频.

Exhibition

The Artist Book as an Agent of Social Change, including books printed on Twinrocker papers, was mounted by the Core III students, and is on exhibit at the Clark Humanities Museum from January 4 through March 5, 2016.

We are pleased to announce聽the latest publication from the聽五月天视频 Press聽Flecks of Light聽written and produced by聽the students in the聽Typography and the Book Arts class.

Students researched medieval color pigments, color choices by painters, and color in letterpress printing.

Size: 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
Edition of 92 copies.
